300 RIDES! WE ARE NOT BROKEN! SHOW ME YOUR WHOLENESS!

Yesterday I hit 300 rides on my bike that goes nowhere (so they say)! I’m not certain exactly how many miles that equates to, but around 5000.  This may not seem like a huge accomplishment to some, but for me, it represents more than a number.

In my basement where no one sees me, except for the occasional curious pup trying to lick my leg or Tyson waving through the window, I ride. I have gotten up countless mornings to get on my @peloton bike to ride myself to greater wellness & strength with gallons of sweat, choice swear words, intense affirmations, glorious intentions, & tears of joy & anguish.

It has been there for me through 2 severe injuries, an angry IT Band & a broken back.  It was there when I couldn’t hike or run, & when I could barely walk. It became MY SAFE place to release miles of sweat, inner fire, frustration, sadness & funk, when I couldn’t go outside for my normal ways of moving my mind-body & soul for liberation.

I ride for me, I move for those that can’t (because I have been that person too), I ride because I CAN! I ride for my continued wellness! I stand for all the Fierce Love Warriors that have come before me and that will come after me! No one sees me do this, but I do it anyway.

I also hit my 3^rd PR of the week (I haven’t done that before in 1 week)!  This reminds me that WE CAN DO HARD THINGS, over and over again! We are born to move & groove in ways that make our hearts sing! I was reassured that we can only LOVE ourselves into a place of change that is sustainable & lasting, hate will not accomplish this.

And I was reminded that we are called into greatness when we stand before those that have our backs!  The voice from the screen echoed: When you get in front of us, we will call you into WHOLENESS because we know you were born of love AND YOU ARE NOT BROKEN!

WE, MY FIERCELY LOVING Friends, are not broken! WE are WHOLE as we are & #togetherwegofar – I think this isn’t too shabby for a bike that “goes nowhere”!
